GAME 1 RECAP
Quinnipiac men's ice hockey lost to No. 19 St. Lawrence, 2-0, in Game 1 of the Bobcats' ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals series at Appleton Arena in Canton, New York. St. Lawrence used a Michael Ederer goal with 11:11 left in the first period to jump out to a 1-0 lead. Mike Marnell dropped the puck to Joe Sullivan behind the Bobcats' net. Sullivan was tied up but won a battle for the puck and zipped to Ederer for the one-timer from just above the crease to give the Saints a 1-0 lead midway through the first period. St. Lawrence made it 2-0 when Joe Sullivan tipped a shot by Ben Finkelstein and re-directed the puck past Andrew Shortridge.
GAME 2 RECAP
Quinnipiac men's ice hockey evened its ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series with a 3-2 win against No. 19 St. Lawrence. Craig Martin (Trail, British Columbia) had Quinnipiac's second three-point night of the 2017 postseason with two goals and an assist. Alex Whelan (Ramsey, New Jersey) had a goal and an assist while freshman goalie Andrew Shortridge(Anchorage, Alaska) picked up his third win of the postseason after an incredible performance in goal. Shortridge stopped 31 of St. Lawrence's 33 shots on goal for the game. Shortridge has now allowed just six goals in four tournament games, ranking among the ECAC Hockey and NCAA Division I goalie leaders in his first career postseason.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- With their 3-2 win on Saturday night, the Bobcats also improved to 5-1 all-time in Game 2 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals when trailing 0-1 in the series.
- Of the five ECAC Hockey goalies to start four tournament games, Andrew Shortridge leads them all with a 3-1 record as well as a .944 save percentage and a 1.54 goals-against average. Shortridge has allowed six goals in four ECAC Hockey Tournament games.
- Craig Martin and Tanner MacMaster are currently tied with a team-leading five points in the ECAC Hockey tournament. Martin has two goals and three assists while MacMaster has scored once and assisted on four more. They sit tied for sixth in the league. Alex Whelan is close behind with two goals and two assists.
- Quinnipiac is in search of its fifth consecutive trip to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals. They would be the first team to reach five consecutive ECAC Hockey Semi's since Cornell did from 2009 through 2012.
