HAMDEN, Conn. - Despite a near double-double from Aryn McClure (Springfield Gardens, New York), Princeton used a fourth-quarter run to defeat the Quinnipiac women's basketball team, 60-46, on Saturday afternoon at the TD Bank Sports Center.

The loss snaps Quinnipiac's five game win-streak, as the Bobcats will have a one-week break for final exams before returning to action with a two-game road trip to Michigan, facing Michigan State on Monday, Dec. 18 and Central Michigan on Thursday, Dec. 21.

The loss was the Bobcats' first home loss of the season, Quinnipiac suffered only one home loss last season.
Since 2014-15 season, Quinnipiac has a 42-4 record at home and a .913 win percentage.
Junior Aryn McClure (Springfield Gardens, New York) lead the way for Quinnipiac, falling just short of a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds
Jen Fay (Lynbrook, New York) added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Junior forward Paula Strautmane (Riga, Latvia) chipped in 12 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Strautmane recorded her 100th career steal with 6:40 remaining in the first quarter.
After two steals today, Strautmane has 101 career steals, which ties McClure for most steals by an active player.
Quinnipiac scored 13 points off of 18 Princeton turnovers.
Quinnipiac opened the game with a 6-0 run in the first five minutes.
Despite Quinnipiac's early run, Princeton closed the first quarter on a 12-3 run to take a 12-9 lead into the second quarter.
McClure got off to a hot start, scoring 10 of Quinnipiac's 18 first-half points.
The Bobcats opened the second-half on a 7-2 run to tie the game at 25-25.
Fay scored five of Quinnipiac's seven points during the run.
Despite going into the fourth quarter down six, the Bobcats opened the frame with a 7-2 run.
The run was capped by a McClure jumper in the lane to give Quinnipiac a brief 44-43 lead with 7:13 remaining in the fourth quarter.
After Quinnipiac took a 44-43 lead in the fourth quarter, Princeton closed the game with a 17-2 run.\
