QU Women's Tennis' Vasile Scores Victory at ITA Regionals

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania - Quinnipiac Women's Tennis' Dominique Vasile (Bingham Farms, Michigan) kicked off the Bobcat's weekend at the ITA Regionals today with two matches in the Qualifying Draw of the ITA Regionals.

BOBCATS NOTES

The freshman Vasile defeated Temple, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, over Temple, in a hard-fought matchup in the Qualifying Draw to start play Wednesday.
The win continues the impressive rookie season for Vasile, who has tallied almost 10 victories in the early going.
Vasile dropped her next contest to higher-seeded Hofstra 6-4, 6-3.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Bobcats will continue their action this weekend at the ITA Regionals when Vasile teams up with Payton Bradley (Downingtown, Pennsylvania) in the Main Doubles Draw. Bradley will also play in the Main Singles Draw throughout the weekend.
