SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
American International College enters the match with a 0-1 NIRA record on the 2016 season. The Yellow Jackets started the season with a 24 – 22 loss after a back-and-forth matchup against Dartmouth College.

OVERALL AGAINST AIC
The 2015 season saw the Bobcats first all-time matchup against the Yellow Jackets in Springfield, Massachusetts. Sophomore inside center Ilona Maher (Burlington, Vermont) recorded a career-high five tries while adding an assist to the 54-21 victory over American International College. Quinnipiac looks to repeat this success in their second overall matchup with AIC on Friday.

STARTING OFF STRONG
The Bobcats 2016 season started off with a 32-19 victory over Army West Point on the road in West Point, New York. The first half saw the teams trade scores, as Ilona Maher had the first three tries of the season for the Bobcats. Quinnipiac was able to secure a lead later in the second half off an inbounds play, when Flora Poole caught a pass from Tayler Schussler and barreled through four defenders on her way in to give the Bobcats a two-possession lead at 27-19. Rebecca Haight capped off the scoring when she took a lateral pass from Mason Johnson and broke in to the left side of the end zone for her first try of the year, making the final score 32-19 Bobcats.

A STREAK OF SUCCESS
Dating back to October 22, 2015 (the last time the Bobcats faced the Yellow Jackets) Quinnipiac has been on a streak of winning, including the 2015 National Championship game. Bobcats look to keep this seven game streak of success going as they take on American International College for the first time this year.

MYLES MAKES HER MARK
Senior Maggie Myles (Emmitsburg, Maryland) started the 2016 with a team high of 7 tackles and 3 assisted tackles in the game against Army West Point. Myles held the 2015 record high total of solo tackles for Quinnipiac with 15 solo tackles in a regular season match against Army West Point. In her 2014 season Myles led the team with 64 solo tackles while adding 12 assisted tackles.
