NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
Quinnipiac field hockey will face Liberty on Friday, Sept. 23 in a match-up of the BIG EAST Conference's two newest members at 4 p.m. at the Liberty Field Hockey Field in Lynchburg, Viriginia. The game will be Liberty's first conference home game of the 2016 season.

Liberty enters Friday's game with a record of 1-5 overall including a 1-0 record in BIG EAST play after a conference-opening 5-1 win at Villanova on Friday, Sept. 16.
Quinnipiac is coming off a crushing overtime loss against Bucknell on Saturday, Sept. 18. The Bobcats overcame an early Bison goal, scoring twice in the first half to head into halftime with a 2-1 lead. Bucknell converted inside the final 10 minutes of regulation and again in overtime off of a corner set.

- The Flames are led by the Barr Sisters, Bethany and Serena, who have each scored a team-high three goals this season. Bethany has also dished out a team-best five assists for a team-leading 11 points in six games. Serena has tallied nine points on the strength of three assists to accompany her three goals.
- The Barr Sisters lead a set of five players to all register multiple goals to date that includes Abby Julius, Kendra Jones and Alynn Richardson who all check-in with two goals apiece.
- Allison Schaefer has logged all 422:37 of the year in the cage for Liberty, posting a 1-5 record with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .712 save percentage.

- Angie King (South Windsor, Connecticut) scored her first goal of the season and also recorded two defensive saves.
- King currently leads NCAA Division I field hockey with seven defensive saves in eight games. She led the nation last season with nine.
- Felicia Costanzo (Yorktown Heights, New York) scored her second goal of the season.
- Savanna Reilly (Hamden, Connecticut) leads Quinnipiac in goals (5) and points (11); she has also assisted on one goal to date.
- Reilly now has 21 goals and 50 points for her career.
- Reilly became the 13th player in Quinnipiac history to score 20 goals and currently ranks 10th all-time.
- Reilly also became the 10th player in Quinnipiac history to reach 50 career points and also ranks 10th in that category.
- Felica Costanzo currently owns a three-game point streak in which she has scored two goals and assisted on another. Costanzo found the back of the cage against Lafayette and Bucknell and had an assist in the Bobcats' win against Georgetown.
- Michelle Federico (Cheshire, Connecticut) exploded for two goals in the Bobcats' BIG EAST opener, leading Quinnipiac to a 4-2 win against Georgetown.
- Freshman Ines Ruiz-Martinez (Madrid, Spain) scored her first career goal in the Bobcats' win against Georgetown.
- Following its conference match-up in Lynchburg against Liberty, the Bobcats will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to take on Villanova in a BIG EAST contest set for Friday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m.
- The Bobcats return to Yale University's Johnson Field in New Haven, Connecticut on Sunday, Oct. 2 for a non-conference game against Hofstra at 3 p.m. and then host Providence in BIG EAST action on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12 PM.
