"Experience and wingspan make Livy a perfect choice to work to fill the shoes of our highly decorated graduating goalkeeper. Livy came to a clinic on campus and we were so pleased with her comfort and efficiency in the cage that we right away felt she could be a wonderful netminder for us. Olivia has a solid chance at becoming a starting goalkeeper and we are pleased she has chosen Quinnipiac to call home."

"I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me at Quinnipiac. I fell in love with its campus, its facilities, and most of all, the family that is the field hockey team. I am excited for what is to come, and I am eager to be a part of such an amazing group of players and coaches."

"In order to improve our scoring ability in the Big East we need players like Marisa who have a knack for the cage and smart tactical skills in the field of play. Marisa was recruited to start for us as a freshman and with her efficiency around the ball and strong skills on the press we hope to see her contribute immediately on the forward line. Marisa will bring a strong sense of play in the attacking midfield and attack transition skills to improve our chances at specialty situation scoring."
Marisa Larkin on attending Quinnipiac University
"I fell in love with the campus the first time I visited. Meeting the coaches and team made it feel like a home away from home. I'm extremely excited to continue my education at Quinnipiac and proudly put on a Bobcats field hockey jersey!"

Lakeland, New York/Lakeland HS
Quinnipiac Head Coach Becca Main on Valerie Perkins
"Lakeland High School is a proven champion and Valerie has been an instrumental player in their four state championships in four years. She is a dynamic playmaker and has the ability to control the flow of the attack transition with her stick skills and passing ability. Valerie is diverse and unpredictable on the field and we plan to utilize her ability to set up plays to goal from the midfield and forward line. We have had many elite Lakeland players at Quinnipiac including current forward sensation Felicia Costanzo and we couldn't be more pleased to welcome Valerie to the Bobcat program."
