
Samantha Guastella, Morgan Manz and Maria Napolitano Named to MAAC All-Academic Team

ALBANY, New York – Three members of the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team – Samantha Guastella (Red Bank, New Jersey), Morgan Manz (Southbury, Connecticut) and Maria Napolitano (Cincinnati, Ohio) – were all named to the 2014-15 MAAC Women's Basketball All-Academic Team, announced on Friday, March 6 by the league office.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released a total of 40 student-athletes that made up the 2014-2015 Women's Basketball All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must finish at least two semesters at their institution and must hold at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Niagara University and Monmouth University led all schools with seven student-athletes named to the team. Following them were Marist College and Rider University with six members a piece. Canisius College, Manhattan College, Quinnipiac University and Saint Peter's University placed three student-athletes each. Fairfield University and Iona College each had two student-athletes.
