New Haven Register: Quinnipiac women hungry for more, even after 30-win season
HAMDEN,Conn– Quinnipiac University women's basketball was featured in the New Haven Register on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. The story, written by columnist Bill Cloutier, highlights women's basketball remaining hungry despite coming off a 30 win season and the school's first NCAA Tournament appearance.
In the article, Cloutier interviewed both Quinnipiac head coach Tricia Fabbri and senior forward Brittany McQuain. Fabbri and McQuain discussed the past season, the season coming up, and replacing one of the best defensive players in program history in Felicia Barron.
The Bobcats season begins on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 in their first ever appearance in the Preseason Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). Quinnipiac will host North Carolina A&T in the opening round of the invitation-only tournament. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center.
