Cantor and Markison combined on an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles against Natalie Tingir and Kate Klein. Cantor then got past Tingir, 6-2, 7-6 (9-7), at No. 1 singles, while Markison defeated Klein, 6-2, 7-6 (7-1), at No. 2 singles.
Steinert paired with Lavinia Cristescu (West Hartford, Conn.) on an 8-6 victory at No. 3 doubles against Elise Sambol and Theresa Petraskova to clinch the doubles point. Steinert then defeated Petraskova, 7-6 (7-5), 6-1, at No. 5 singles.
Also earning a singles win, her seventh straight, was Juliet Labarthe (Oklahoma City, Okla.). The Bobcats' freshman defeated Betsy Edershile, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 3 singles.
The Bobcats conclude spring break action in Florida Thursday, when they face Oklahoma Baptist. First serve is scheduled for 8 a.m. in Orlando, Fla.
