
Fairleigh Dickinson Defeats Men's Tennis, 4-1

Feldman defeated Guy Goren Eliav at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 5-7, 8-6. Hughes and Weeden scored their No. 2 doubles victory over Peter Skvarka and Dominic Hemy, 9-8. The Knights took the doubles point, however, with wins at No. 1 and 3. Sven Sjoerds and Marco Jemersic edged Brian Mikkelson (Mequon, Wis.) and James Kwei (Dedham, Mass.), 9-7, at No. 1, while Andrew Denny and Eliav defeated Feldman and Dillon Kraus (Bayside, N.Y.), 8-2, at No. 3.
Mikkelson's No. 1 singles match with Hemy was suspended with the Bobcats' junior holding a 3-6, 6-4, 4-3, advantage. Hughes' No. 2 singles contest against Sjoerds was also halted with Hughes up a set, 6-4, 3-3.
Skvarka defeated Weeden at No. 3, 7-6, 6-1, while Yuri Gricheno outlasted Garrett Lane (Reading, Mass.), 1-6, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 4. The Knights also took the No. 6 singles flight as Ted Segerfors beat Alex Lazerowich (Stratham, N.H.), 6-2, 6-3.
The Bobcats return to NEC action Friday, April 9, when they play host to intrastate rival Sacred Heart. Matches are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
