Bio
As a Senior in 2017:
- Played in 10 matches.
- Recorded 25 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles.
- Had an assist against AIC.
As a Junior in 2016:
- Appeared in all 12 matches for the Bobcats
- Tallied six tries, an assist and three runs over 20 yards
- Had three tries in a win over Castleton
- Had 30 tackles, including 24 solo, with a high of four solo tackles on three occasions (both meetings with Army and at Norwich).
As a Sophomore in 2015:
- Appeared in all 13 matches for the Bobcats
- Tallied 40 solo tackles, 14 of which came in three postseason matches
- Had five solo tackles in the national championship against Army, four in the semifinals against Norwich and five in the quarterfinals against West Chester
- Had a key try in the national championship win over Army
- Added tries in the regular season against Dartmouth and Brown
- Tallied a season-high eight solo tackles against Army during the regular season

Before Quinnipiac:
- Attended Rex Putnam High School
- Helped her All-Star Redhawks team to a third place finish at GNC and her North Clackamas team to a third place finish in the state tournament in 2011, 2012 and 2013
- Invited to the 2014 USA Rugby West Camp in Colorado and the second annual Stars and Stripes game in Colorado
- Earned a varsity letter in soccer and took part in choir and theatre
- Graduated high school in top 50 of the senior class with an honors diploma and a 3.6 GPA
- Awarded the outstanding senior Drama Department award.
Personal:
- Lives in her hometown of Portland, Oregon
- Daughter of Karl and Debbie Helgerson
- Has two younger brothers Jacob and Ian, and an older sister Halee, who played lacrosse at Linfield
- Majoring in criminal justice
- Volunteered on a mission trip to Belize and Heart Butte Montana as a freshman and sophomore
- Active member of Milwaukie Lutheran Church's youth group for six years.
- Lists reading, snowboarding, backpacking, hiking as her hobbies
- Spent the summer (2017) as a park ranger for Dinosaur State Park and practicing with a New York sevens team called the Village Lions, while also doing a 5 day backpacking trip through New Hampshire and camping on weekends.
- Secretary of the Quinnipiac Criminal Justice Club
- Plans to pursue a career with the state police or something in the National Parks Services.
- Lists "Violent Offenders" as the most interesting course she has taken at Quinnipiac ("We learned about psychopaths and different mass murder and serial killers. Definitely the most interesting class I've taken at QU.").
