Entering her third season with the program in 2022, Marshay Greenlee joined the Quinnipiac women's volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in October 2020.
Greenlee comes to Quinnipiac after serving as an assistant coach at Southern Connecticut State University for the past two seasons. Greenlee was part of the staff that led the Fighting Owls to their first Northeast 10 Conference Championship in 2018.
Prior to SCSU, Greenlee was the head coach at Gainesville High School and head coach for the Gainesville Juniors Volleyball Club where she led girls of various ages. She also has held coaching positions at the P.K. Yonge Developmental School where she served as the junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant.
While with the Gainesville Juniors Volleyball Club, Greenlee guided her 2016 16 Elite team to a top-30 finish at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals, as well as her 2015 15 Elite team to a top-10 finish at the USA Volleyball Nationals.
Before getting into coaching, she was a four-year member of the volleyball team at the University of North Florida from 2007-2010. Greenlee played outside hitter and saw time in 95 matches throughout her career. She averaged 1.13 kills/set after recording 351 kills over four years as well as 186 digs and 167 total blocks.
Greenlee set career-highs as a sophomore in 2008 with 162 kills, 1.51 kills/set, 45 assists and 90 digs. As a senior in 2010. Greenlee had a career-high 59 blocks, including nine solo blocks.
A native of Gainsville, Florida; Greenlee earned a B.S. degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in May 2011.
