Marmer returns to her alma mater after serving an assistant coach of the Connecticut College women's ice hockey program since July of 2017.
During her first season as an assistant coach at Connecticut College, Marmer led the team to a program record of 15 wins and a second-place finish in the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) during the 2017-18 season. She was involved in all aspects of recruiting, player evaluations, practices, film break-down and strength and conditioning.
The Dorset, Vt., native has also been involved with USA Hockey camps and evaluation as a U15 USA National Camp Intern. In addition, she selected USA National Camp players in the Atlantic District in March 2018 and 2019. She was a lead instructor for the Vault Summer Training Program in August of 2018 and also a team coach at Princeton's Exposure Hockey Camp in July of 2018.
Marmer was a forward for Quinnipiac women's hockey from 2013-2017 and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies. She was a member of the historic 2015-16 ECAC Championship Team when the Bobcats finished with a program-best 30-3-5 record. She played in 132 games for Quinnipiac and finished her career with two goals and 13 assists for 15 points. She was also named to Quinnipiac's Dean List five times and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Marmer was received the National Scholar Athlete Award, Quinnipiac Scholar Athlete Award and was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team four years in a row.
The 2017 graduate will oversee all player development and team operations for the women's hockey program as of July 15, 2019.
