- MAAC All-Academic Team
- Opened the season at the Nassaney Invitational 5k (19:25.1) finishing in 27th place
- Recorded a time of 22:24.8 in the 6k at the Paul Short Run
- Competed in the 2019 MAAC Championships and tallied a time of 23:58.6

- Recorded a career-best time in the 5k at the NEICAAA Championships (18:26.4)

- Strung together another nice performance in the following meet, placing 22nd overall (third on the team) at the Iona Meet of Champions (9/16) with a time of 19:20.5
- Ran her best 6k time of the season (21:44.8) while placing 158th overall (third on the team) at the Paul Short Women’s Gold Run (10/1)
- Was solid at the Bobcats’ first-ever Pre-National Invitational (10/15) appearance as she placed 64th overall (fourth on the team) with a time of 22:33.9
- Stormed to the finish line at the MAAC Championships (10/29), placing eighth overall (fourth on the team) as the fastest freshman in competition, crossing the line in 21:58.4
- Finished her freshman campaign with a 110th place result (third on the team) while clocking in at 22:23.2 at the NCAA Northeast Regional (11/11)
- Graduated from South Windsor High School in Connecticut
- Qualified for Nationals in the Junior Olympics
- Posted personal bests in the one mile (5:00), 800m (2:19), 1000m (3:04) and 5000m (20:01)
- Named All-Conference all four years in both the cross country and track and field seasons
- Also picked up multiple All-State honors in Connecticut during the cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field seasons
- Led South Windsor’s cross country team to the Conference Championship and to an undefeated season in her senior year

- In the sixth grade, Bakas tried out for field hockey but hurt her back in the first tryout so she was forced to miss the season, The following year, instead of giving field hockey a second try she chose to join cross country and found her love for the sport
