- Saw time in all 40 games - Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team -Tallied 10 points (three goals, seven assists) with a +3 plus/minus for the season - Named to the 2013 UConn Hockey Classic All-Tournament Team as Clifton was the only player in the Classic to score in both games - Registered his first collegiate point with an assist on Nov. 15 against Harvard - Picked up assists in games against Massachusetts (Nov. 30), Union (Jan. 10), Merrimack (Jan. 17) and at Dartmouth (Jan. 31) - Scored his first career goal in the UConn Hockey Classic on Dec. 29 against Massachusetts - Responded with another goal the following day on Dec. 30 in the UConn Hockey Classic Championship which resulted in a 5-0 win against Sacred Heart - Picked up his first career multi-point game with two assists at home against Rensselaer on Jan. 11 - Scored one goal against Yale in the Bobcats’ Game One victory of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Mar. 14.

- Played for the Jersey Hitmen of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL), amassing 49 goals and 86 assists for 135 career points in 117 games played
- In 2012-13, the elder Clifton led the EJHL with 30 goals, ranked fifth with 63 points and eighth in assists with 33 while posting career-highs in all three categories in helping the Hitmen to the 2013 Dineen Cup
