QU Athletics Title IX 50th Anniversary Celebration
June 23rd, 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of Title IX being passed into American law and helped create gender equity in sport. This landmark law has removed barriers and expanded the opportunities for women and girls in sports.
Over the coming months, Quinnipiac University Athletics is honoring the athletic advancements of our female teams and the amazing student-athletes, coaches and administrators who have helped pave the way for the Bobcats. QU Athletics will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of Title IX of the Higher Education Act with a series of virtual and in-person celebrations.
