Renton Wraps Up Action at ITA All-American Championships

CARY, N.C. – Quinnipiac women's tennis junior Willow Renton competed at the ITA All-American Championships Pre-Qualifying Singles Draw for the second straight year. Last season, Renton became the first Bobcat in program history to earn a selection to the event.
Facing competition from two Power Four programs, Renton fell to UCLA's Ahmani Guichard 6-2, 6-1 in the main draw on Saturday before battling UNC's Ishika Ashar in the consolation round of 128. Renton pushed the second set to a tiebreak but ultimately fell 6-3, 7-6(5).
The reigning 2026 MAAC Player of the Year, Renton helped lead Quinnipiac to back-to-back conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances while going undefeated in conference singles play.
