Van Keulen Scores Twice as Bobcats Win Third Straight

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Rozemarijn Van Keulen recorded her first multi-goal game of the season as the Quinnipiac field hockey team defeated Columbia 2-1 on Sunday afternoon, extending their winning streak to three games.

After a scoreless first half, Columbia opened the scoring just 52 seconds into the third quarter, converting on a penalty corner to take a 1-0 lead.
Â
The Bobcats responded later in the quarter with a penalty-corner goal of their own, as van Keulen found the back of the cage to even the score.
With four minutes remaining in the final quarter, van Keulen delivered again, scoring her second goal of the game to lead Quinnipiac to its fourth victory of the season.
Meike van Schoot earned the win in goal, making seven saves.
