CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Quinnipiac women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup against Boston College on Sunday at the Chestnut Hill Invitational.

Giulia Ragusa led Quinnipiac with 10 total kills while adding six digs. Ragusa tallied 15 total kills over the opening weekend.

Asia Belli chipped in eight kills, bringing her season total to 12 after recording four in the opener against Air Force.

Klara Olszewska paced the Bobcats with 19 assists (12 in the second set alone), while Sophia Gisslen added eight.

Sahra Ozbiltekin recorded a team-high seven digs.
GAME REWIND

Set 1: The Eagles jumped out to an early 8-3 lead in the opening set. The Bobcats battled back, eventually cutting the deficit to 22-20 on a Giulia Ragusa kill. Boston College then closed the set with three straight points for a 25-20 win. Ragusa led QU with three kills in the frame.

Set 2: The home team claimed the second set by a 25-20 score as well. Boston College led 7-1 early during the second stanza before closing on a 6-0 run. Ragusa registered five kills during the set, while Sila Yildiz added four.

Set 3: Boston College built an early 5-1 lead in the final set before sealing the match with a 25-17 victory. Asia Belli led the Bobcats with four kills in the frame.
NEXT UP
Quinnipiac turns its attention to the Delaware State Invitational next weekend. The Bobcats will square off against Lehigh, Delaware State, and NJIT from Sept. 4–5.
