Three Bobcats Named to All-MAAC First Team

Eight Bobcats Were Named to the All-Academic Team
HAMDEN, Conn. – Three Bobcats were named to the All-MAAC First team, as announced by the league office on Monday, April 20th. In addition, eight Bobcats were named to the All-Academic Team, which led all MAAC teams. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
For the second straight season, Sophia Fujita earned All-MAAC First Team honors. Fujita competed in nine tournaments, which included a first-place finish at Lehigh. Fujita's best round of the season came at Lehigh, as she shot a 204 (-9) in the three-round invitational. Fujita is coming off her first season in Hamden, which saw her earn the 2025 McLeod Trophy as the highest finisher at the 2025 MAAC Championships, the Rookie of the Year, and the Player of the Year.
Junior Samantha Galantini was named to the All-MAAC First Team for the second straight season. Galantini competed in eight tournaments combined in the Fall and Spring seasons and is ranked 941st nationally. Galantini's best finish this season was a fourth-place finish at the Lehigh Invitational. Galantini had a three-round total of 215 (+2) in the three rounds at Lehigh.
After earning second-team honors last season, Marisa Flores was named to the All-MAAC First Team for the first time in her collegiate career. Flores competed in nine tournaments in her second collegiate season and had her best finish at the Quinnipiac Classic, recording a third-place finish. Flores finished in the top twenty in five events this season and in the top ten in four events.
