MANCHESTER, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's tennis team came up short against UConn, dropping matches 5-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bobcats did not receive the doubles point but picked up a win from the team of Caroline Schulson / Isabella Sicignano.

Schulson and Vera Sekerina each earned wins for Quinnipiac in singles play.

Caroline Schulson earned her second singles win and doubles win with partner Isabella Sicignano this season.
Schulson earned MAAC Player of the Week after sweeping singles and doubles against NJIT on Jan. 31.
Willow Renton has won three doubles matches this season, two of them with partner Caitlin Flower and one with Anagha Shankar.
Renton, Anagha Shankar, and Emily Meng picked up their first singles wins of the season against Bryant on Feb. 7.
