2026 ITA DI MEN'S NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The Quinnipiac men's tennis team will compete at the 2026 DI Men's New England Regional Championships from Thursday, October 8^th to Monday, October 12^th at Harvard University.

The men's singles portion of the bracket will begin on Thursday at 9 AM, while doubles play begins on Friday at 9 AM.

ABOUT THE 2026 ITA REGIONALS

The 13 regionals, hosted across the country throughout the next two weeks, will hand out NCAA Individual Championship bids to the singles finalists and the doubles champions.
The New England Regional will take place at Harvard University from Thursday, October 8^th to Monday, October 12^th.

LAST TIME OUT

Last weekend, members of the Quinnipiac men's tennis team competed in the Metro Masters Tournament in Hamden, Connecticut.
The duo of Finn Burridge and Elias Hoxha won the doubles crown, defeating the pair of Argun and Stefanovic of Siena, 6-2.
Vishal Prakash fell in the singles final to Stefanos Pournaropoulos of Mount St. Mary's, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.

RECAP OF LAST SEASON

The Bobcats closed out the regular season with an 8-11 record and a 5-3 mark in conference play, which earned them the number three seed for the postseason tournament.
Quinnipiac's season came to a close in the semifinals, falling to the eventual champions, the Rider Broncs, 4-2.

ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS

Elias Hoxha, Alessandro Sciacca, and Vishal Prakash all earned All-Conference honors last season.
Hoxha earned Third Team Singles, while Sciacca and Prakash were named to Second Team Doubles.

STRONG RETURNING GROUP

Quinnipiac returns six from last year's team that fell in the conference semifinals last season.
Finn Burridge is the lone senior on the team, with Elias Hoxha, Carl Sjoholm, and Vishal Prakash rounding out the junior class.
Prithvi Sudhakar and Alessandro Sciacca are two sophomores who returned to Hamden for their second season with the Bobcats.

THE NEWCOMERS

The Bobcats welcome four newcomers to the squad: Keitaro Hendrajanto (Jakarta, Indonesia), Marcos Karakassis (Hamburg, Germany), Andrey Pikulin (Moscow, Russia), and Milan Radojicic (Belgrade, Serbia).
Pikulin is a transfer from Northwood University in Michigan, while Hendrajanto, Karakassis, and Radojicic are all incoming first year students.

'26 FALL SCHEDULE

The Bobcats will battle in five tournaments for the fall portion of their 2026-27 schedule.
After opening their season at the Fairfield Invitational (Sept. 18-20), the Bobcats will make a short trip to New Haven for the Bulldog Invitational (Sept. 25-27) hosted by Yale.
The Metro Masters Tournament will take place at Quinnipiac once again, with the event slated for three days (Oct. 2-4).
Just a few days later, the ITA Regionals will take place at Harvard University from Wednesday, Oct. 7 to Monday, October 12^th.
Quinnipiac will close out its fall portion of its schedule at the Army Shootout in West Point, NY (Oct. 30 – Nov. 1).
