Randall Nets 25, Helps Power Bobcats Past Mount St. Mary's

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball improved to 4-1 in MAAC play on Sunday at M&T Bank Arena, defeating Mount St. Mary's by the final score of 80-69.
QU outscored The Mount 48-34 during the second half. The Bobcats shot 13-of-22 (59.1%) during the final 20 minutes.
Quinnipiac is now 7-1 at M&T Bank Arena in 2025-26. The Bobcats have gone 32-6 in home contests over the last three seasons under Head Coach Tom Pecora.
Grant Randall scored a career-high 25 points to lead the way for the Bobcats. He shot 8-of-14 from the floor and grabbed five rebounds.
Asim Jones added 17 points, including 13 points during the final 20 minutes to help lead QU's second-half charge.
Amarri Monroe registered his sixth double-double of the year in the victory. He finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
First-year Bobcat Keith McKnight was all over the box score, recording 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Preseason MAAC Player of the Year is up to 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season. He has 25 career double-doubles (Bobcats are 22-3 during that span).
- Keith McKnight set a new season-high mark with five assists. He started for the Bobcats – adding 12 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
- Tai Turnage knocked down a pair of 3-pointers off the bench.
- QU is now 17-12 against The Mount since 2000. The Bobcats have taken each of the last three meetings.
