No. 8 Bobcats Down No. 5 UMD to Wrap Up Friendship Four Action

BELFAST – The No. 8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team upset No. 5 Minnesota Duluth 3-1 on Saturday afternoon, scoring three unanswered goals between the first and third period.
UMD opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal in the first period.
The Bobcats answered late in the frame, as Taylor Brueske netted her second goal in as many games with under two minutes remaining to even the score.
Emerson Jarvis put Quinnipiac ahead early in the second period, finishing a feed from Avery Bairos to make it 2-1. Jarvis' tally stood as the game-winning goal.
Kahlen Lamarche sealed the victory with an empty-net goal with 48 seconds remaining.
Felicia Frank stopped 22 of 23 shots to earn her 15th win of the season.
