POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a MAAC contest on the road at Marist by the final score of 71-64 on Saturday afternoon from McCann Arena.

Asim Jones registered a game-high 22 points for the Bobcats, while Keith McKnight added 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Amarri Monroe posted another double-double with 14 points & 11 rebounds.

Marist led 43-28 through the first 20 minutes of action, then the Red Foxes extended the advantage to 18 points less than four minutes into the second half.

The Bobcats battled back, however, cutting the deficit to just one point (65-64 Marist) with 1:22 remaining on a Keith McKnight driving layup. The Red Foxes made six free throws from that point to clinch the home win.

Quinnipiac shot 23-of-62 in total (37.1%). The Bobcats went just 5-of-20 from 3-point distance.
Asim Jones led the Bobcats with 22 points on 9-of-21 shooting. He registered 18 points during the second half to help the Bobcats cut into the deficit.
Amarri Monroe's double-double is his ninth of the season. He has six double-doubles in 11 MAAC contests. Monroe shot 5-of-12 from the floor.
Keith McKnight registered 15 points and seven rebounds – including three offensive boards off the bench. He has 25 rebounds over the last three games.
Jaden Zimmerman chipped in with 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
QU held a 34-33 rebounding advantage. The Red Foxes held a 36-30 advantage on points in the paint.
Quinnipiac is 17-11 against Marist since the Bobcats joined the MAAC in 2023. QU has taken six of the last nine meetings. The two teams split the 2025-26 regular season series with today's result.
