Bobcats Earn Commanding Double-Digit Victory at The Mount

HAMDEN, Conn – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned a commanding road win on Thursday night at Knott Arena, topping Mount St. Mary's by the final score of 77-62.
With the win, the Bobcats move to 7-3 in MAAC play through the first half of the regular-season league slate.
Amarri Monroe led QU with another double-double, registering 17 points and 10 rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting.
Jaden Zimmerman added 13 points and seven assists, while Asim Jones chipped in with 13 points of his own. Grant Randall also reached double-digit points with 10.

Amarri Monroe led QU with nine first-half points, while Grant Randall added eight points over the first 20 minutes. Samson Reilly buried a 3-pointer as time expired at the end of the first half, giving the Bobcats a nine-point lead heading into the break.
QU then started the second half on an impressive 16-0 run to push the lead to 25 points. Mount St. Mary's cut the lead to 13 on multiple occasions after the Quinnipiac burst, but that was the closest they would get. Asim Jones led QU with 10 second-half points.
The Bobcats shot 14-of-31 in the first half of action, then 14-for-30 during the second half. QU outscored the Mount 32-26 in the paint.

Quinnipiac returns to the floor on Saturday, Jan. 24, traveling to Poughkeepsie, New York to take on Marist at 1:00 PM.

- Amarri Monroe's double-double is his eighth of the 2025-26 season. The reigning MAAC Player of the Year has five double-doubles in MAAC play, and recording 10+ points and rebounds in both regular season victories over Mount St. Mary's.
- Jaden Zimmerman added 13 points and a team-high seven assists for the Bobcats. The sophomore guard has 30 points and 14 helpers over the last two games.
- Asim Jones poured in 13 points, including 10 during the second half to help QU earn the road win. Jones shot 4-of-10 from the floor.
- Grant Randall chipped in with 10 points and three rebounds. It marks his 14th game of the year with double-digit point totals.
- Spence Wewe added four points and a team-best seven rebounds, while Keith McKnight scored four points and added six rebounds.
