Eschoyez Leads Bobcats over Holy Cross in Season Opener

WORCESTER, Mass. – Francisca Eschoyez scored twice to lead the Bobcats over Holy Cross in QU's season opener at Hart Turf and Hart Track on Friday evening.
After waiting through a 40-minute weather delay, QU came back from a one-goal deficit, scoring twice on penalty corners. Holy Cross took the lead just over 11 minutes into game, scoring on a penalty corner.
Francisca Eschoyez received a pass from Katie Shanahan on a penalty corner just two minutes and fired it home to even the score at one.
Just over eight minutes into the second half, Eschoyez broke the tie on another penalty corner.
Cristina Torres made several big saves in the second half to hold on for the win.
