Men's Soccer Adds Goalkeeper Erik Willke

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the addition of Erik Willke, as revealed by head coach Eric Da Costa on Wednesday afternoon.
Willke will join the Bobcats this fall from Norway, coming in as a first year goalkeeper. He is "looking forward to meeting (his) new teammates and coaches," and was "impressed by the soccer quality in the group and in the coaching staff."
"I think there is a lot that I can learn from the team. Also the academic programs, especially the 3+1 program was something I got personally interested in," said Willke. "I expect to develop as a goalkeeper and meet new people at QU. I am motivated to learn and hope to contribute to the team."
The first year hopes, "that when I am done with my four years at QU that I have developed as a person and become a better version of myself. In addition, I hope to have achieved successful memories with the team."
