HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball dropped its regular-season finale at Fairfield, 83-74, on Saturday evening at Mahoney Arena.

Richie Springs recorded a double-double to lead the Bobcats – pouring in a career-high 22 points to go along with 14 rebounds.

Ryan Mabrey and Jaden Zimmerman each added 14 points, while Alexis Reyes chipped in with 10 points and 7 boards.

The Bobcats will finish up MAAC regular season action at 15-5 for the second consecutive season.

NUMBERS & NOTES

Richie Springs led the charge for QU with 22 points and 14 rebounds. He shot 9-of-17 from the floor in 37 minutes of play, and went 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. Springs grabbed 10 defensive rebounds. He scored 14 points in the second half.
Ryan Mabrey added 14 points, knocking down 4 3-pointers (all in the first half).
Jaden Zimmerman chipped in with 14 points. He shot 5-for-6 from the line.
Alexis Reyes stuffed the stat sheet with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 rebounds.
Grant Randall added 7 points and 5 rebounds.
Quinnipiac finished 8-of-20 from 3-point distance.

Quinnipiac is the top seed in the MAAC Tournament at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The Bobcats will play the winner of Siena/Rider in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 PM.
