Renton Named MAAC Player of the Week

EDISON, NJ – First Year Willow Renton has been named MAAC Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the league office, Wednesday, March 5.
The Goshen, Ky. native is coming off a 2-0 weekend to start MAAC play, winning her No. 1 doubles match with Caitlin Flower, 6-2 over Niagara. She also had one of QU's four singles wins at the No. 1 spot, defeating Niagara's Melo, 7-6(5), 3-0, ret.
Renton is currently 2-3 this spring for QU, playing all of her matches at the No. 1 singles spot. Her other singles win came over NJIT on Jan. 25. Her and the Bobcats will return to play this Monday in Orlando, Fla. against North Dakota at the USTA National Campus.
