Bobcats Finish the Low Country Intercollegiate in 7th Place

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team finished the Low Country Intercollegiate in 7th place out of 13 teams. The Quinnipiac grouping had a three-round total of 964 (+100).
Samantha Galantini finished in a tie for 13th place to lead the Bobcats. Galantini finished with a final score of 234 (+18), shooting 78 (+6) in the final round of the Invitational.
Fuge Zhang carded a 79 (+7), which moved her up five spots into a tie for 19th place. Zhang finished the Invitation with a final score of 240 (+24). Natalie Spiska, who played as an individual, moved up 13 spots, tying for 25th place. Spiska shot 78 (+6) in the third round, ending with a score of 242 (+26).
Marisa Flores shot an 84 (+12) in the final round of the tournament, putting her in a tie for 37th place (245, +29). Vaidehi Shah finished a stroke behind Flores after shooting an 86 (+14) on the final day to give her a 40th-place finish (246, +30).
Alexia Egdahl finished out for the Bobcats in 53rd place, recording a final score of 252 (+36).
The Bobcats will return to the course on April 5th as they begin play at the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, New Jersey.
