QU Earns 5-2 Conference Victory

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Quinnipiac men's tennis moved to 2-0 in MAAC play with a 5-2 win over Marist on Saturday evening.
The Bobcats took the doubles point on wins from the tandems of James Lorenzetti / Daniel Velek and Yasha Laskin / Elias Hoxha before winning four singles matches. Carlos Braun Simo won his match at No. 2 singles while Finn Burridge, Elias Hoxha, and Alex Yang each won their matches in three sets.
With the win, QU moves to 2-0 in the MAAC and 8-9 against Marist since 2014.
