Bobcats Fall at Merrimack

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball dropped a MAAC contest at Merrimack, 73-63, on Sunday afternoon at Lawler Arena.
Jaden Zimmerman tallied 22 points (8-10 FG) to lead the way for the Bobcats, while Paul Otieno registered another double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds) as well. Amarri Monroe – the MAAC's leading rebounder – grabbed 16 more boards on the day.
Budd Clark registered 20 points and eight steals to lead the way for the Warriors.
The Bobcats fall to 14-4 in MAAC play with the result. Quinnipiac remains in first place in the league standings with two regular season contests left.

- Jaden Zimmerman recorded a team-best 22 points (second highest total of the season for Zimmerman) over 31 minutes. He went 8-of-10 from the field, 4-for-5 from 3-point distance, and 2-for-2 from the free throw line. The first-year guard has 20+ points twice this season (24 points vs. Sacred Heart on 2/14/25).
- Paul Otieno added 20 points and 11 rebounds for his 13th double-double of the season (now tied with Amarri Monroe for the league lead). Otieno shot 8-of-11 from the field. The 20-point performance is his fourth of the season. The big man leads the MAAC with a 59.7% shooting percentage.
- Amarri Monroe grabbed 16 rebounds (12 on the defensive end). He added six points.
- Alexis Reyes chipped in with 5 points and 3 assists, while Savion Lewis recorded 5 helpers. Khaden Bennett added 4 points.
- QU turned the ball over 21 times, while Merrimack recorded just 7 miscues. The Warriors attempted 62 shots from the floor, while Quinnipiac attempted just 51.
- Merrimack had four players reach double figure scoring totals.
- Quinnipiac returns to Hamden for the final home contest of the regular season on Thursday, March 6, playing host to Mount St. Mary's at 7:00 PM.
