ALBANY, NY – Quinnipiac dropped a MAAC matchup at Siena, 84-75, on Sunday afternoon at MVP Arena. The Saints outscored the Bobcats 55-35 in the second half of action to earn the victory.

Amarri Monroe recorded a career-high 28 points for the Bobcats over 37 minutes. He added nine rebounds and three steals.

QU moves to 9-2 in MAAC play with the loss.

NUMBERS AND NOTES

The Bobcats shot 39% in total. Quinnipiac went 17-of-34 (50%) during the first half of action, taking a 40-29 edge into the break.
Siena then forced 16 QU turnovers in the second half, and the Saints knocked down five 3-pointers en route to 55 points over the final 20 minutes.
Amarri Monroe registered 55 points and 19 rebounds over a pair of games this past week for QU (win vs. Fairfield, loss at Siena). He shot 17-of-19 from the free throw line over those two contests. The Preseason MAAC Player of the Year is averaging 16.7 PPG in 2024-25.
Khaden Bennett added 11 points, while Doug Young chipped in with 10 points off the bench. Jaden Zimmerman recorded 9 points.
Paul Otieno registered eight points and eight rebounds, while Alexis Reyes added 4 points and 10 rebounds.
Reyes' total of 10 rebounds ties a season-high mark (he also grabbed 10 rebounds vs. Merrimack on 1/16).
The Saints outscored QU in the paint 38-36, and bench scoring finished even 21-21.
With the win, Siena snaps QU's four-game winning streak in the series between the two programs.
