Bobcats Set A New QU Division I Record for Fewest Points Allowed

Jersey City, N.J. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats closed out 2025 with a 67-27 win over the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Monday evening in Jersey City. With the win, the Bobcats improved to 8-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Nine different Bobcats recorded points in the forty-point win over the Peacocks. Ella O'Donnell led the way with 12 points on 5-for-6 (83.8%) shooting from the floor. O'Donnell grabbed four rebounds on the defensive end and three on the offensive end for seven total rebounds. Karson Martin scored 10 points in the win. Eight Bobcats recorded 5 or more points as they stay unbeaten in MAAC play. The Bobcats set a new school record for the fewest points allowed in the Division I era, allowing just 27 in the win.

Paige Girardi got the Bobcats off and running with a three just 12 seconds into the contest, and Quinnipiac took it to another level from there. Quinnipiac scored the game's first seven points and led the Peacocks 12-5 halfway through the opening frame. The Bobcats closed out the opening quarter on a 13-2 run, leading 25-7.
Quinnipiac continued to dominate the Peacocks in the second quarter, scoring 17 points in the frame and extending their scoring run to 30-2. Saint Peter's got their only points of the quarter with 36 seconds left in the frame, and the Bobcats entered the halftime break with a 42-9 advantage. The two points allowed in the quarter are the fewest points allowed in a single quarter this season for the Bobcats.
The Bobcats kept their distance from Saint Peter's coming out of the locker room at the half, outscoring the Peacocks 12-10 in the frame and taking a 35-point lead. In the final frame, the Bobcats outscored Saint Peter's again to give them a 40-point win to improve to 3-0 in MAAC play.
