Bobcats Top Monmouth, Win 5th Straight

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its fifth consecutive victory on Wednesday night at OceanFirst Bank Center, as the Bobcats defeated Monmouth 85-75.
5 different Bobcats scored in double figures to help lead the way in the wire-to-wire win. Quinnipiac's largest lead was 26 points.
Grant Randall registered 17 points and 11 rebounds, good for his third double-double of the year.
Amarri Monroe recorded 16 points, Asim Jones tallied 15 points, and both Nate Guerengomba and Keith McKnight put up 13.

Grant Randall scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds over the first 20 minutes of play, while Amarri Monroe registered 10 first-half points. QU built up a lead as large as 20 during the first half.
Quinnipiac then went on a 13-2 run over the first 3:30 of the second half to extend the lead further. Grant Randall's dunk made it 62-36 with 16:33 left in regulation (26 points marked QU's largest lead of the night). Keith McKnight led the way with nine points (4-7 FG) during the final 20 minutes of play to help Quinnipiac earn the road victory.

- Grant Randall has three double-doubles over the last four contests for the Bobcats. He shot 6-of-13 from the floor, posted 17 points and 11 rebounds, and also led QU with three steals. The sophomore is now averaging 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in 2025-26. He has 46 points and 37 rebounds over the last four games.
- Amarri Monroe finished with 16 points, including 10 during the first half as QU built up its lead. He shot 5-of-10 from the floor, dished out four assists and grabbed three rebounds.
- Asim Jones added 15 points and four assists over 30 minutes of play.
- Nate Guerengomba chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds – both of which mark new season-high totals.
- First-year Bobcat Keith McKnight impressed once again, tallying 13 points and five rebounds off the bench.
