
No. 7 Quinnipiac, Clarkson Play to Scoreless Tie

HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team skated to a scoreless tie against Clarkson on Saturday afternoon.
Clarkson controlled much of the first period, outshooting Quinnipiac 11-5. The Bobcats responded in the second and third, generating several chances and three power plays, but were unable to break through.
Goaltender Felicia Frank stood tall in net, stopping all 32 shots she faced. The sophomore matched her career high, previously set against Brown on Oct. 25.
Neither team would find the back of the net in overtime, bringing it to a shootout.
In a best-of-three round, Clarkson took the shootout as Janelle Evans netted the lone goal.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats resume ECAC play with a home-and-home series against Princeton on Nov. 20 and Nov. 22. Both games will stream live on ESPN+, with puck drops scheduled for 6 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
