HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a non-conference contest vs. Yale, 97-60, on Tuesday evening at M&T Bank Arena.

Jaden Zimmerman led the Bobcats with 16 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Grant Randall and Keith Mcknight both added 12 points and four rebounds for QU.

Yale shot 59.4% from the floor (38-of-64) in total. Five Bulldogs reached double figure scoring totals.

NOTES

Keith Mcknight made a driving layup with 9:30 left in the first half, giving Quinnipiac an early 24-23 lead over Yale. The Bulldogs then went on a 29-4 run over the final nine-plus minutes of the first half to take the lead into the locker room.
Yale shot 17-of-34 (50.0%) in the second half, earning a win over the Bobcats for the third consecutive season.
Jaden Zimmerman is averaging 18.0 PPG so far this season to lead the way for the Bobcats. He has posted scoring totals of 19, 19, and 16 to begin 2025-26.
Keith Mcknight's 12-point effort is his second highest scoring total of the year. He recorded 19 points in the opener at St. John's (11/3). Mcknight shot 6-of-7 from the floor over 23 minutes, grabbed four rebounds and blocked two shots.
Grant Randall now has back-to-back double digit scoring efforts. He scored 14 points in QU's win over CCSU (11/6), then poured in 12 more points tonight. Randall shot 4-of-6 from the field in the loss.
Spence Wewe grabbed eight rebounds to lead QU, and Asim Jones dished out five assists.

The Bobcats return to the floor on Sunday, Nov. 16, traveling to Maine to continue the non-conference schedule.
