CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Three goals in the second period proved to be enough, as the No. 13 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program went up to No. 6 Boston College and secured a huge, early-season road win by knocking off the Eagles 4-3 on Friday night at the Conte Forum.
Matthew Lansing and Graham Sward scored 2:57 apart in the first five minutes of the second, propelling the Bobcats to a 3-1 lead.
After BC cut the deficit to one, Chris Pelosi cleaned up a scrum in front to give the Bobcats the insurance they would need in the third to help secure the win.
Jeremy Wilmer got the scoring started for the Bobcats as part of a two-point night, as he slickly toe-dragged and shot into the top corner at the 9:25 mark of the first.
