Brueske Nets First of the Season, No. 7 Quinnipiac Tops No. 13/14 Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team continued their undefeated start to the season, earning a 3-1 victory over No. 13/14 Yale on Friday night to secure their ninth straight win.
After a scoreless opening period, Taylor Brueske broke through just 1:17 into the second with her first goal of the season.
Bryn Prier doubled the Bobcats' lead with her third goal of the season four minutes later.
After Yale cut the deficit in the third, Emerson Jarvis sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final minutes - her second straight game with an empty-netter.
Goaltender Felicia Frank started in net for the Bobcats once again, stopping 25 of 26 shots to earn her ninth win of the season.
