
No. 10/9 Bobcats Fall at No. 5 Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. — The No. 10/9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell 4-2 to No. 5 Colgate on Friday evening.
After feeling each other out for the first 20 minutes, Tessa Holk broke the scoreless tie, hitting an empty net after Laurence Frenette forced a turnover from the Colgate goaltender.
Colgate would answer quickly with a goal of their own to knot the score back up.
Bryn Prier curled at the top of the circle and threw a puck on net that found its way in to regain the lead.
Colgate would tie it back up just before the end of the second, and added two more in the third to win 4-2.

QU will head to Ithaca, N.Y. to face No. 6 Cornell tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM at Lynah Rink.
