NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac field hockey fell 4-2 to Yale in the Battle of Whitney Ave Sunday afternoon on the road.
The two teams played even for the first 15 minutes with Cristina Torres making three saves in the first quarter. Yale would break the tie in the second quarter before adding three more in the third frame.
QU got one back in the third with goal from Francisca Eschoyez. Martina Calveira added another in the fourth quarter but it wouldn't be enough as the Bobcats fall to 2-8 and Yale improves to 6-2.
