Bobcats Drop Big East Opener to Providence

HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac field hockey dropped its BIG EAST opener to Providence 2-0 on Friday afternoon.
Two different Friars scored, tallying goals in the third and fourth quarters. Bobcats had chances throughout on corners but could not find the back of the cage.
With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 2-5, while Providence moves to 4-3.
