Bobcats Release Fall 2024 Schedule, Including 4 Home Games

QU Set to Open New Season on Aug. 31
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Women's Rugby has revealed its fall 2024 schedule, as announced by Head Coach Becky Carlson and the Bobcats on Wednesday, July 10.
QU's slate includes nine total games – four of which will be played at the QU Rugby Field in Hamden.
The Bobcats open up the new season with three consecutive road dates: Aug. 31 at Brown, Sept. 6 at Harvard, and Sept. 21 at Navy.
Quinnipiac's home opener will take place on Sunday, Sept. 29 vs. Penn State. Carlson and the Bobcats then play host to Princeton on Oct. 5 before traveling to AIC on Oct. 12.
The program has two more home games on Oct. 19 (vs. Army) and Oct. 26 (vs. Dartmouth), followed by the regular-season finale at Sacred Heart on Nov. 2.
The Bobcats went 6-3 in total last year during the 2023 campaign, winning four straight games from Sept. 30 – Oct. 28 to close the regular season. QU defeated Navy, Sacred Heart, Army, AIC, Mount St. Mary's and LIU in 2023.
Head Coach Becky Carlson just wrapped up her 13th year at the helm of the Quinnipiac Women's Rugby team in 2023-24, leading the transition from a new varsity program into a three-time national champion.
Quinnipiac announced part of its signing class on May 1, then revealed five more incoming Bobcats on June 1.
