FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis dropped its regular-season finale at Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon by the final score of 4-3.

The tight battle came down to No. 3 singles, as Nick Condos of Fairfield held on for a 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (7-3) clincher.

The No. 2 Bobcats will now square off with No. 3 Marist in the semifinal round of the MAAC Tournament at Mercer County Tennis Center in New Jersey.

Daniel Velek now has 14 singles wins this spring for QU.
Daniel Velek and Carlos Braun Simo are each 6-0 in singles during conference play.

The Bobcats are now 7-7 vs. Fairfield over the last 14 meetings dating back to 2008.
