Arakaki Sends Bobcats to MAAC Title Match in Thriller

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – No. 2 Quinnipiac Men's Tennis defeated No. 3 Marist in the semifinal round of the 2024 MAAC Championship on Saturday evening, as the Bobcats downed the Red Foxes 4-3 in a thriller.
Ayato Arakaki won the clincher for the Bobcats, a three-set thriller that ended after 9:00 PM under the lights at Mercer County Tennis Center.
The Bobcats will now advance to the MAAC Tournament title match for the fourth time since QU joined the league. Quinnipiac made it all the way to the final round in 2015-16, 2018-19, and in 2021-22.
