QU Moves to 5-0 in MAAC, Downs Niagara on Senior Day in Hamden

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Quinnipiac Women's Tennis battled to another MAAC win on Sunday in Hamden, as the Bobcats downed Niagara by the final score of 5-0 at the QU Tennis Courts.

With the win, the Bobcats move to 5-0 in MAAC play this year. QU has one regular season

The Bobcats swept the doubles point to begin the day, then Anagha Shankar, Vera Sekerina and Caitlin Flower all added singles wins to clinch another QU victory.

The Bobcats celebrated Senior Day following the win, honoring Dominique Yeo in a special ceremony.
QU extended their conference play win streak to 16 (including postseason play).
Anagha Shankar is now 3-2 in MAAC play from the No. 1 spot.
Vera Sekerina (No. 2 singles) and Caitlin Flower (No. 4 singles) both own a perfect 5-0 mark in MAAC singles play.
Dominique Yeo and Vera Sekerina are 3-2 as a No. 1 doubles duo in conference play.
Caroline Schulson and Caitlin Flower moved to 16-5 in doubles this year.
