QU Finishes Second In Navy Spring Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Quinnipiac women's golf finishes the Navy Spring Invitational in third place. Aimme Uchida was the highest finisher for the Bobcats as she came in a tie for 2nd place after shooting a 73 (+1) on the final day of competition.
Samantha Galantini shot up eight spots to finish the two-day tournament in a tie for 4th place. Galantini carded a 71 (-1) on the final 18 holes.
Natalie Spiska finished in a tie for 19th place after shooting a 77 (+5) on day two. Spiska moved up one spot from her day one finish.
Fuge Zhang jumped into a tie for 25th place after she finished the second day a +5 (77), giving her a two-day total of 161 (+17).
Captain Leeyen Peralta shot a 79 (+7) on the final day of competition to give her a tournament total of 162 (+18).
Alexia Egdahl is competing as an individual and after shooting a two-day total of 178 (+34), she finished the tournament in a tie for 56th place.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Friday, April 19th as they open play at the MAAC Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
