3/7/2024 11:30:00 AM | General
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics has officially unveiled the Bobcats' renovated strength & conditioning facility on the Mount Carmel Campus. The department's state-of-the-art facility is available to all 21 Division I programs, and features a variety of upgrades that will continue to enhance the ways that Quinnipiac student-athletes can train.
"The weight room can be the lifeblood of an athletic department. It is a place that every student-athlete has the opportunity to use, develop and grow into their best self," said Quinnipiac Associate AD/Director of Athletic Performance Brijesh Patel.
As part of the University's comprehensive partnership with PepsiCo, the area also houses the "Gatorade Hydration Station," providing student athletes with a variety of products from PepsiCo's athletic performance portfolio.
"Quinnipiac student-athletes now have the opportunity to train in a state-of-the-art weight room that can enhance their performance and allow them to develop athletically, individually, and collectively as a team," Patel continued. "We would like to thank all of those that supported this initiative as it will be a centerpiece in the development of all of our student-athletes moving forward."
