HAMDEN, Conn. — For the second consecutive season, forward Collin Graf is a Hobey Baker Award Top 10 Selection.
Based on a committee selection and fan vote, the Lincoln, Mass., native is again ranked amongst the Top 10 players in college hockey, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon. Graf finds himself at the top of the team leaderboard in multiple offensive categories, on the squad's leadership group and is one of the hottest names in the sport as the postseason continues.
Graf enters the Lake Placid weekend with 48 points to his name, scoring 22 goals and adding 26 assists. He is first on the team and fifth nationally in both goals and points and second behind Jacob Quillan in assists on the squad.
Entering this weekend, he is one of two players nationally to be in the top five in both goals and points per game, joining Boston University's Macklin Celebrini. He has points in 11 of his last 12 contests, including a trio of three-point outings during that span. He has 12 multi-point outings this season, highlighted by five against AIC on Oct. 14 and three consecutive, three-point outings against Brown, Yale and Cornell.
With two points this weekend, Graf will hit the 50-point plateau for the second consecutive season and will be the first Bobcat in Division I history to record a pair of 50-point seasons during his career.
He also will be the first person in NCAA D1 Men's Hockey to accomplish consecutive 50-point seasons since Northeastern's Adam Gaudette and Dylan Sikura, both of which accomplished the feat during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns.
Graf and the Bobcats return to the ice on Friday night, taking on seventh-seeded St. Lawrence in the ECAC Semifinals at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Puck drop is slated for 4 p.m., Eastern and can be seen live on ESPN+.
